We are seeking skilled Machinists (CNC & Manual) to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll use manual and/or CNC machine tools to produce high-quality precision components that help power manufacturing operations around the world. Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
  • Basic shop math skills, including fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating CNC and/or manual machine tools.
  • Trade school, technical school, or machining program coursework.
  • Experience holding tight tolerances and inspecting precision components.
  • Experience with Okuma CNC machines
  • Experience with Mori Seiki / DNG CNC machines
  • Experience with Doosan equipment
  • Experience with Bridgeport mills
  • Experience with Manual mills and engine lathes
  • Experience with Surface or cylindrical grinders

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machine tools to produce precision metal components.
  • Interpret blueprints, job orders, setup sheets, and other manufacturing documentation.
  • Determine machining requirements, tooling, machine settings, feeds, speeds, and sequence of operations.
  • Plan and layout dimensions according to engineering drawings.
  • Machine parts to required tolerances and specifications.
  • Verify quality using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and keep equipment, tooling, and work areas clean and organized.
  • Safely move materials using forklifts, hoists, cranes, and other lifting equipment.
  • Ensure all products meet Bradbury's quality standards and customers’ expectations.
  • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
