Machinist C - 2nd Shift (Sign-on bonus)
About The Position
EPTAM Precision Plastics is looking for a CNC Machinist C - 2nd Shift to join their team in Northfield, NH. This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus. The company manufactures plastic components and assemblies for the medical industry, including biopharma, molecular diagnostics, robot-assisted surgeries, and implantable devices. EPTAM Plastics is the largest North American manufacturer of machined plastic products and assemblies, with a team of over 285 engineers, production specialists, and quality control experts. They are FDA-registered and ISO 13485 certified, utilizing advanced inspection equipment and multi-axis plastic machining techniques. EPTAM Solutions, the parent company, has manufacturing locations nationwide.
Requirements
- High School diploma, general education degree (GED) and/or trade school graduate preferred.
- 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment, operating manual and/or CNC equipment, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to execute the Essential Functions for this position.
- Internships and PT experience acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Operate various pieces of equipment to meet production requirements, primarily a Lathe.
- Use judgment to follow instructions with little or no choice to the procedures.
- Make suggestions regarding tooling, fixtures, etc., to increase efficiency and improve operations.
- Load/feed machine as required to produce finished product.
- Keep count of parts and maintain records.
- Perform in-process inspection for dimensions of produced parts and maintain documentation.
- Follow specifications and procedures for manufacturing, including process sheets, work orders, and special instructions.
- Work on various types of equipment as assigned.
- Properly handle all material, parts, and equipment to prevent damage and loss of finished product.
- Relate to other people, get along with co-workers, and respond appropriately to supervisor feedback.
