About The Position

Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance. In this role, you will make an impact by ensuring safety through stopping work and reporting major injury hazards immediately, reporting work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards promptly, adhering to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations, consistently using appropriate personal protective equipment, promoting team safety by looking out for one another, and recognizing and minimizing the negative impact of your work on the environment. You will also be responsible for quality control by following standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures, and for continuous improvement by actively participating in training and development and engaging in ways to improve quality, safety, and processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
  • Experience operating CNC machines (1 to 3 years)
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments.
  • Basic math skills (decimals, fractions, tolerances)
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
