Machining Operator - 3rd Shift
About The Position
This position is responsible for the set-up and operation of machining tools to perform repetitive machining operations. Essential Job Duties include the set-up and operation of machine tools to perform repetitive machining operations. Verify dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. Perform routine maintenance on machinery. Frequently moves/lifts up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift. Constantly position self to run/maintain machinery (stooping, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling). Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn in proper manner at all times.
Requirements
- Ability to work varying shifts and overtime.
- Ability to read and write the English language.
- Must be able to move about in and around machinery and between lines.
- Must have specific vision abilities to include: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
