About The Position

CMC America, LLC is looking for highly driven individuals that can lead a team to success! You will be part of a team supporting our corrugate machinery inside our facility. The technician will be responsible for tasks related to mechanical aspects (maintenance, repair, and operation) of corrugate machinery.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or higher.
  • Minimum one (1) year Programmable Logic Controllers.
  • Minimum three (3) years maintenance experience.
  • Minimum one (1) year service maintenance experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of corrugate experience.
  • Must be familiar with current safety OSHA regulations.
  • Understanding of automated machinery and ability to work with HMI’s.
  • Mechanical repair and maintenance, understanding knowledge and experience with corrugate machinery.
  • Must be able to perform routing maintenance and set up of machinery.
  • Ability to read manuals, electrical diagrams, drawings and interpret a variety of instructions whether in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to service and perform maintenance on corrugate machinery to a high standard.
  • Must be comfortable with engaging directly with customers and colleagues.
  • PC literate.
  • A willingness to learn and drive to become a perfectionist.
  • Outcome orientated.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document Preventative Maintenance activities according to schedule and process.
  • Assist site staff as needed in operation of equipment.
  • Repair and replace defective parts and components.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, carry out real-time repairs as required following any escalation procedures.
  • Maintain and properly document use of on-site spare parts.
  • As required, complete Pass Down reporting to ensure continuity of operations between shifts.
  • Provide daily service reports.
  • Adhere and practice proper Health and Safety Policies outlined by CMC America, LLC, as well as other policies in place.
  • Always maintain an organized and tidy workplace.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve equipment performance.
  • Installs, programs or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as programmable controllers.
  • Other tasks, as assigned.
