Machinery Mover/CDL-A Driver
About The Position
Put your CDL-A and heavy equipment experience to work hauling specialized equipment while staying actively involved in rigging, machinery moving, and industrial field work. TL Jackson Construction is a family-owned company based in York, PA, specializing in industrial rigging, machinery moving, crane rentals, trucking, and turnkey industrial services for construction and manufacturing projects. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience driving tractor-trailers and operating heavy equipment.
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and the ability to meet DOT physical requirements.
- Understand safe equipment operation, load securement, and jobsite practices while working around heavy machinery.
- Be prepared to lift up to 75 pounds, climb up to 10 feet, and regularly bend, kneel, stand, and operate equipment.
- Bring dependability and a positive attitude to a crew that values safety, professionalism, skill, and accountability.
Nice To Haves
- Rigging, millwright, crane, or machinery-moving experience is preferred and will help you contribute across the jobsite.
Responsibilities
- Operate CDL-A tractors with Landoll, lowboy, and other heavy-haul trailers to support industrial projects.
- Transport cranes, forklifts, construction equipment, machinery, and other industrial equipment safely to and from jobsites.
- Load, unload, and set machinery and equipment alongside the rigging crew.
- Perform hands-on industrial rigging and millwright work as part of each project.
- Work around cranes, forklifts, gantries, skates, and other specialized equipment used for machinery moving.
- Secure loads properly and maintain compliance with DOT requirements.
- Support the crew wherever needed to complete each job safely and efficiently.
