About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Tool Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal supervision, performing a wide range of electrical tasks in a machine tool manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Skilled and experienced Machine Tool Electrician
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficiency in performing a wide range of electrical tasks in a machine tool manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret schematics and bill of materials
Experience with wiring and installing communication blocks and Ethernet systems
Experience with wiring and installing auxiliary power, robots, and safety circuits
Experience with 480V and 24V electrical systems
Experience tying in tools and completing final dressing to controls
Experience installing temporary power and bending/installing conduit
Experience preparing tools with I/O blocks, DeviceNet, cable trays, and duct work
Experience verifying, tagging, and running cords per customer and job specifications
Ability to perform electrical inspections using standard checklists
Ability to follow manufacturing instructions
Effective communication skills with leadership and other skilled trades

Responsibilities

Perform electrical wiring of machinery and control panels from schematics and bill of materials
Wire and install Communication blocks and Ethernet systems
Wire and install Auxiliary power, robots, and safety circuits
Wire and install 480V and 24V electrical systems
Tie in tools and complete final dressing to controls
Install temporary power and bend/install conduit
Prepare tools with I/O blocks, DeviceNet, cable trays, and duct work
Verify, tag, and run cords per customer and job specifications
Perform electrical inspections using standard checklists
Follow manufacturing instructions and communicate effectively with leadership and other skilled trades
