Position Summary: Setup and prepare milling machinery for production. Maintain and perform daily preventative maintenance and supply all milling machine related needs. Troubleshoot and solve minor to semi-complex problems and issues.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand blueprints, customer drawings, and all technical information.
Strong mechanical, technical and analytical skills.
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience with machinery in a production or machine shop environment required

Responsibilities

Setup and prepare machinery for production.
Full knowledge of how to read blueprints, customer drawings and all technical information.
Load/unload fixtures and specific programs for machine set up.
Maintains better than average productivity.
Maintains high accuracy on all functions.
Mentors’ other employees.
Works on moderate scope of machinery set-up complexity.
Has the ability to identify potential issues and resolve efficiently.
Escalates issues to supervisor only when out of their knowledge base to resolve.
Provides guidance or direction, training, and technical assistance to junior level support.
Contributes to employee’s development.
