About The Position

PIVOT POINT INC. is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Weekend 1st Shift Full Time Machine Set-up Operator position. This person would learn to set up, troubleshoot, and operate a variety of our machinery, training in departments such as Screw Machines, Automatic Drill Machines, and Shavers as needed. This is a Full Time Weekend Shift position (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 4am-4pm), where you work 36 hours and get paid for 40. The salary starts at $25-28/hour, with room for growth. Initial training for this position would be Monday-Thursday, 4am-2:30pm for an estimated 2-3 months. We are looking for experienced candidates with strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.

Requirements

• Experience in Manufacturing Machining required
• Required experience working with Metal
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to do machine set-ups and troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to use close tolerance measuring tools
• Ability to perform repetitive motion standing in one place for extended periods of time
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds as well as move 100+ pounds with cart
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, Q.C. sheets and measuring devices
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of what is needed to produce quality parts
• Solid work history and attendance record with proven reliability
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing
