About The Position

Perform repairs and maintenance on all the electrical, electronic, mechanical and pneumatic components on the various sub-assembly and assembly machines. This includes Swanson Erie Assembly Machines, Flint Cartridge Assembly Machine, Flint Spring Assembly Machines, Felt Print Machine, and Rework Hand Line Equipment. The role involves adjusting fixtures and sensing equipment, repairing and rebuilding Rotex motors, screw-guns, and other pneumatic components. It also includes repairing or replacing worn or broken components, fixtures, pick and place units, and other machine assemblies. Lubrication of drive chains and sprockets, changing gearbox oil, and adjusting probe mechanisms are also key duties. The position requires periodic quality checks according to the quality plan, clearing component part jams in feeder bowls, escapements, grippers, etc., and maintaining material supply at feed stations. The employee must keep machines, equipment, and the work area clean and orderly for safety and operational efficiency, and maintain production and quality records. The employee is responsible for operational productivity, continuous improvement, product quality, and job safety, requiring a full working knowledge of performance, quality, and safety requirements. Support for job-related operational training needs regarding existing and new manufacturing practices, processes, and technologies is also expected. Any other duties related in nature that may be assigned by the supervisor will be performed.

Requirements
