About The Position

Diagnose, Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC, electronic and mechanical equipment, and control systems associated with the HAS ITT people mover and related equipment. Provide concise, accurate, and sufficiently detailed data for input of all maintenance information. Provide emergency/unscheduled and scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment and facilities. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Complete daily work log and work order paperwork for tasks accomplished during shift. Respond to maintenance calls when required and/or requested. Comply with company safety program. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 3-5 years’ experience in equipment and maintenance operations or 3-5 years electrical, electronic, or mechanical experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair wiring motor control systems
  • PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport
  • Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Vocational Training, Technical degree, Associates degree, or background in electrical or mechanical maintenance with a track record of electrical or mechanical skills a plus
  • Familiarity with Airport operations a plus
