This full-time role is a part of our Elkton team and reports to the Trades Supervisors.
Requirements
- Working on large metal stamping presses
- Working with robotic welding machines (Fanuc)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment working with steel, iron, aluminum, and other various metals
- Maintenance Tech Journeyman card or 8 years of verifiable experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Diagnose malfunctioning machines such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables
- Diagnose and replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches and motors and positions sensing devices
- Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other personnel from other affected departments including production, maintenance, and tool room to diagnose malfunction
- Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas
- Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems
- Removes and replaces worn or broken parts
