About The Position

The Machine Operator’s primary responsibility is operating production equipment, including punch presses, press brakes, folding machines, turret presses, saw drill boxes, flat bed lasers, Kuka lasers, tube benders, buffing lines, and CNC mills. Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.

Requirements

1+ years' hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment required.
Ability to use hand and power tools (e.g., nibblers, power saws).
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Effective communication.
Quality-driven with strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Working knowledge of high-speed production machinery and measurement tools.
Ability to follow first-piece inspection procedures (First Off Green Tag Procedure).
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, protractor and other inspection tools that may be required.

Nice To Haves

1+ year of manufacturing and/or machine operation experience preferred.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Operating production equipment, including punch presses, press brakes, folding machines, turret presses, saw drill boxes, flat bed lasers, Kuka lasers, tube benders, buffing lines, and CNC mills.
Stopping the production line and/or preventing shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to our customers.
Working effectively in a team environment.
Maintaining an organized, safe work area.
Following first-piece inspection and approval procedures prior to full production.
Reading and comprehending blueprints.
Reading a tape measure, micrometer, protractor and other inspection tools.
