About The Position

We are excited to invite Machine Operators to join our dynamic team here at CPI Card Group! This is a temp-to-hire position with potential for full-time employment offer after 75 days of work. Employees who transition to permanent positions, following their probationary period, will become eligible for benefits starting on the first of day of the month after their start date. As a Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process. Your key tasks will involve operating and maintaining production equipment to uphold our high standards of quality and efficiency. This position requires a sharp attention to detail, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to collaborate effectively with your team to meet production goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus
• At least one year’s experience in machine operation
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; including distinguishing color
• Proficient in math for calculating percentages, areas and volumes
• Ability to set up computer-aided machinery, with a solid understanding of Windows based computers
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
• Dependable with a track record of good attendance and punctuality
• Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary
• 90-day work assignment, which includes a 30-day attendance required period for training purposes.
• Overtime work is required

• Previous experience in manufacturing environment could earn up to $2.00 more an hour!

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor production line machinery, conducting routine inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
• Follow safety protocols to create a secure workplace and work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets and maintain quality standards.
• Accurately document production metrics and promptly communicate any issues to management for swift resolution
