About The Position

Kraft Heinz Kendallville is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Machine Operators. This role is crucial for producing quality products that are a staple in households across the country. The Kendallville plant, established in 1934, is the sole producer of all Kraft Heinz product lines, including caramel, marshmallows, and Marbits. Requirements

  • Self-motivated and strong drive for results.
  • Able to use simple mathematics.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Able to work in areas that contain dust and starch particles.
  • Able to work in hot and humid conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing and/or food processing, quality standards, hygiene, work safety, etc. preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform set-up, start-up, and changeover procedures for the equipment as needed.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues with line performance as it relates to equipment operation.
  • Accurately maintain downtime records during line operation.
  • Perform sanitation duties for production and periodic sanitation work as assigned.
  • Conduct and accurately document quality checks.
  • Monitor and communicate any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor, Team Leader, or Line Technician.
  • Communicate with previous and next shift regarding any concerns or watch outs.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader.
