About The Position

Kraft Heinz Kendallville is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Machine Operators. This role is crucial for producing quality products that are a staple in households across the country. The Kendallville plant, established in 1934, is the sole producer of all Kraft Heinz product lines, including caramel, marshmallows, and Marbits. Requirements

Self-motivated and strong drive for results.
Able to use simple mathematics.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
Able to work in areas that contain dust and starch particles.
Able to work in hot and humid conditions.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of manufacturing and/or food processing, quality standards, hygiene, work safety, etc. preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform set-up, start-up, and changeover procedures for the equipment as needed.
Assist in troubleshooting issues with line performance as it relates to equipment operation.
Accurately maintain downtime records during line operation.
Perform sanitation duties for production and periodic sanitation work as assigned.
Conduct and accurately document quality checks.
Monitor and communicate any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor, Team Leader, or Line Technician.
Communicate with previous and next shift regarding any concerns or watch outs.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader.
