About The Position

Ditsch USA is looking for a Machine Operator to join their Cincinnati team on 2nd shift. In this role, you will help operate production equipment, maintain quality standards, and keep operations running safely and efficiently. If you enjoy hands-on work and a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this could be a strong next step. The pay range is $19.40 - $21.44/hour. This role involves operating, monitoring, and adjusting machinery, managing equipment start-up, shutdown, sanitation, and daily operations, inspecting product quality, troubleshooting equipment issues, completing production and quality documentation, following safety and food manufacturing standards, loading and unloading materials, and tracking inventory. Collaboration with team members is also key to ensuring smooth operations across shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of manufacturing experience (food production preferred)
Strong mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic math skills and flexibility to work weekends as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand and move throughout your shift for 8+ hours.
Ability to work at varying temperatures (freezer to production floor)

Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and adjust machinery to keep production moving.
Manage equipment start-up, shutdown, sanitation, and daily operations.
Inspect product quality (appearance, weight, labeling, etc.)
Troubleshoot equipment issues and support basic maintenance.
Complete production and quality documentation
Always follow safety and food manufacturing standards.
Load and unload materials and maintain proper inventory tracking.
Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth operations across shifts.
