About The Position

In the position of Machine Operator you will be Responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment to ensure the efficient and accurate completion of production tasks. You will operate and monitor the line, removing or shifting materials and/or finished product as necessary to facilitate proper flow and machine operation. You will ensure package and product quality, operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely, and perform all running maintenance, housekeeping, and organizing. You will also execute light duty troubleshooting, maintain a clean work area throughout good housekeeping practices, clean equipment during and after shift, and perform CIP/Sanitation as required. Expedite repairs to the line, working with maintenance as necessary, and act as a member of the team to deliver results and react to issues appropriate for the situation. You will monitor, measure, and report system performance, conduct all quality control requirements, and perform product and package changeovers. Maintain accurate and current records of down time and machine operations. Communicate with manager, mechanics, and other operators to solve problems, take direction, and complete assigned work. Utilizes computer-based workstation systems.

Requirements

Between 1-3 years of experience in a machine operator role
Between 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing environment
Knowledgeable about the limits and capabilities of different machines is essential for optimal performance.

Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Heavy Machinery, Operations or related field of study
Microsoft office
