Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a machine operator preferred.
  • Working knowledge of high-speed or automated machinery.
  • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or manuals is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a production environment.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed based on production demands.
  • Authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available.

Responsibilities

  • Start, operate, and monitor machines to ensure efficient production cycles.
  • Control and adjust machine settings such as speed and calibration to maintain optimal performance.
  • Feed raw materials and parts into semi-automated machines safely and efficiently.
  • Use precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Identify and resolve machine issues during operation to minimize downtime.
  • Check finished products to identify defects or inconsistencies and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, including approved and defective units.
  • Perform basic machine upkeep including cleaning and routine checks.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to meet production goals and improve operations.
