Requirements

2+ years of experience as a machine operator preferred.
Working knowledge of high-speed or automated machinery.
Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or manuals is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently in a production environment.
Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to work overtime as needed based on production demands.
Authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available.

Responsibilities

Start, operate, and monitor machines to ensure efficient production cycles.
Control and adjust machine settings such as speed and calibration to maintain optimal performance.
Feed raw materials and parts into semi-automated machines safely and efficiently.
Use precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet specifications.
Identify and resolve machine issues during operation to minimize downtime.
Check finished products to identify defects or inconsistencies and ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain accurate records of production output, including approved and defective units.
Perform basic machine upkeep including cleaning and routine checks.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to meet production goals and improve operations.
