About The Position

This role involves operating packing machines to ensure accurate weights, seal integrity, and proper seasoning of products. The Machine Operator will be responsible for pre-production preparation, fine-tuning machines for different product runs, and making adjustments for smooth production. Key tasks include switching film rolls, adjusting formers, setting and monitoring seasoning flow, manually inspecting and packing bags, assembling boxes, applying labels, and packing cases. The role also requires sanitizing equipment, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety protocols, and food quality standards.

Requirements

Experience in manufacturing or machine operation, or ability to learn quickly and eagerness to grow.
Comfortable lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Ability to solve small problems quickly and keep production moving.
Willingness to work on a team where members support each other.
Ability to notice details such as seasoning accuracy or missing digits on date codes.
Ability to remain organized under pressure.
Ability to interpret machine behavior.

Responsibilities

Perform pre-production machine preparation and on-the-fly fine-tuning for various product runs.
Switch film rolls, adjust formers, and make quick adjustments to maintain production flow.
Set and monitor seasoning flow to ensure consistent flavor.
Manually check, inspect, and hand-pack bags to maintain quality standards.
Assemble boxes, apply labels, and pack cases according to customer specifications.
Sanitize equipment and maintain a clean and production-ready work area.
Follow all GMPs, safety protocols, and food quality standards.
