About The Position

This role involves setting up and operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines to produce precision parts. The operator will interpret technical drawings and specifications, select appropriate tools and parameters, and monitor machine operation to ensure quality and productivity. Quality control is performed using precision measuring tools. Routine maintenance and minor repairs are also part of the role. Responsibilities include documenting processes and production data, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and collaborating with engineers to optimize manufacturing. The role also requires troubleshooting production issues and demonstrating the ability to run master’s and/or run rabbits, reset errors, and perform machine offsets.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in operating various machine tools, including CNC machines.
  • Interpersonal skills.
