Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with your hands? We're looking for dependable, detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our overnight production team in Dubuque, IA. As a Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production equipment to ensure quality products are manufactured safely and efficiently. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 65 lbs, and rarely up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout an entire shift.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is helpful but not required-we're willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Dependable with a positive work ethic.
- Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to work instructions.
- Load and unload parts and materials while maintaining production flow.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine machine adjustments and notify maintenance of equipment issues when needed.
- Complete production records and required documentation accurately.
- Maintain production goals while following all safety procedures.
- Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth production throughout the shift.
- Cross-train in other production areas as needed.
- Assist with additional production duties and projects as assigned.
