About The Position

Milwaukee Electronics is seeking a Machine Operator to join their production team. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth operations and involves working with various production equipment such as SMT Pick & Place machines, Through-Hole Insertion, Sequencers, Wave Solder, and Reflow systems. The operator will be responsible for adjusting settings and identifying potential issues to ensure high-quality product manufacturing. The position offers a unique schedule of working only 3 nights a week, resulting in a 4-day weekend every week. This schedule is Thursday-Saturday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM, providing full-time hours in three days and allowing for significant personal time. The role emphasizes maximizing time and earnings with a schedule designed for efficiency and work-life balance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3–6 months of manufacturing or related experience preferred
  • Basic data entry and computer skills
  • Ability to read and follow English instructions and safety documentation
  • Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability to interpret performance graphs

Responsibilities

  • Read job specifications and set up machines accordingly
  • Operate production equipment with attention to quality and efficiency
  • Use computer programs to access and follow assembly instructions
  • Monitor machines to detect defects or malfunctions and correct or route as needed
  • Perform minor machine maintenance per documented instructions
  • Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to problem-solving
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
