About The Position

As an Operator, you will be a key member of our production team, responsible for safely operating various machinery to produce quality metal roofing and wall panels.

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, hear, talk, and wear PPE.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating roll formers, coil slitters, and flat sheet shears.
• Operating a roll former to produce metal roof and side panels.
• Checking and visually inspecting produced panels against specifications to ensure a defect-free product.
• Installing panel dies during tooling change and adjusting to panel specifications.
• Entering production quantities for each order into the computer system.
• Operating a forklift for positioning coils at the un-coiler.
• Operating overhead cranes to load coil stock.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Assisting in other departments as needed.
