Join us and help run what runs the world. This position reports to: Production Supervisor, LP Front Fabrication. In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate process equipment or machinery to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts for a final product at the right time and with the required quality. Each day, you will execute the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance. You will also showcase your expertise by operating machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions. The work model for the role is: Onsite 2nd Shift. This role is contributing to the EL Smart Power division in Mebane, NC. You will be mainly accountable for: Performing routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repairing and fitting simple replacement parts. Ensuring regular standard maintenance of the equipment, tools set-up, programming activities, and troubleshooting and reporting issues, if any; and maintaining detailed records of machinery set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities. Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the US legally.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • At ease communicating in English, written and verbal.
  • Practical experience with applicable software.
