About The Position

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating machinery to maximize production and efficiency. This role involves various tasks related to machine operation, setup, maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
Ability to communicate and work well with others in a team effort.
Must be able to bend, stoop, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

High school education or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery to maximize production and efficiency.
Complete all paperwork related to the job.
Lock out equipment before set up and disassembling.
Inspect equipment during set up following product specification.
Report abnormalities to Supervisor.
Ensure all packaging materials comply with product specifications and quality standards.
Carefully seal all packing materials to protect them from contaminants.
Return packaging to designated storage area.
Responsible for dry pick up.
Strive to meet all daily ship schedules.
Know metal detector policy and proper handling of product.
Keep the packing equipment and work area in a safe and orderly manner.
Know and understand how to keep area clean.
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of packing supplies.
Have knowledge of sanitation procedures.
Be willing to rotate jobs.
Know and understand good manufacturing practices.
Know and understand safety guidelines.
Know and understand lockout/tag out procedures.
Perform other jobs as assigned.
