About The Position

Wieland is hiring a Machine Operator. This role is located in Duncansville, PA and will be fully on-site. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery according to production specifications, monitoring machine performance and adjusting as needed, inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, performing routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, troubleshooting minor mechanical issues and reporting major malfunctions, following all safety guidelines and company procedures, maintaining accurate production and quality records, working collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals, and crosstraining in other areas as needed. The position requires the ability to work various overtime as business needs require.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Maintains thorough knowledge of equipment/machine specific SOP’s and Quality Plan
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
