Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Proficiency in mathematics and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

Nice To Haves

Experience operating CNC machines and forklifts
Knowledge of steel manufacturing processes
Familiarity with quality control procedures
Commitment to safety culture and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

Efficiently operate a variety of production machinery including CNC machines, drills, grinders, forklifts, and burners to manufacture high-quality steel parts accurately and safely.
Set up, run, and monitor machines to meet production targets, consistently producing parts within specifications and timeframes.
Read and analyze blueprints and technical specifications to guide machining processes, ensuring parts meet required dimensions and tolerances.
Monitor production processes, document exceptions or issues, and promptly address problems to maintain high quality and safety standards.
Work closely with shop employees and report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm behaviors in support of developing a world-class safety culture.
