Open Plan Systems ships its products nationwide, with a focus on the Eastern United States. The candidate for this position is required to perform daily woodshop area functions. He/she must possess the ability to record receiving data using computer. Schedule, create, and close all the wood department's jobs. He/she should assist and work with other company departments to ensure product is produced to company standard and follows distribution channels in a correct and timely manner. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as required.

Requirements

Ability and experience in using CNC Point to Point equipment.
Ability and experience in using Edge Banding Machine equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform daily woodshop area functions.
Record receiving data using computer.
Schedule, create, and close all the wood department's jobs.
Assist and work with other company departments to ensure product is produced to company standard and follows distribution channels in a correct and timely manner.
Maintain inventory control for the wood department.
Verify, count, and organize inventory, providing accurate inventory counts and locations.
Fulfill department quotas on a daily basis.
Multitask, structure, and oversee all aspects of the department to ensure the quotas are met.
Maintain company equipment in working order and promote a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
Follow company's quality controls procedures.
Ensure to follow all company standards, procedures, and direct instructions.
