Responsibilities

  • Ensure that safety is a priority by following all safety procedures
  • Be a Role Model – No exceptions from safety absolutes and plant rules; What you say and do impacts everyone on your shift. Positively and Negatively
  • If you feel a task that you have been asked to complete is unsafe, stop and request additional information
  • Take immediate action to address a safety hazard
  • Visible participation in pre shift meetings reiterating safety
  • Daily review housekeeping with focus on your areas; don’t settle
  • Respond to employee concerns with the respect and assist others when needed
  • Participate in EHS Framework scoring and improvement plans
  • Learn all aspects of the production procedure, clean up scrap and keep work area clean
  • Develop and convey a Quality First attitude (doing it right the first time, every time)
  • Able to dump resin, load scrap trailer, answer pager, and know how to use the scanner
  • Have a basic understanding of Flatpack Operations
  • Maintain knowledge in the QMS and ISO Standards
