Machine Operator
About The Position
Operate various machines to ensure proper functionality and safety. Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Make sure the equipment is in optimal condition by doing routine maintenance checks. Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Keep track of production statistics and notify supervisors of any problems or hold-ups. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures. When required, help with machine setup and adjustment. Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production goals. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- A high school degree or its equivalent is required
- Prior experience using machinery in a production setting
- Capacity to read and comprehend designs and technical documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical abilities
- Fundamental knowledge of safety rules and guidelines
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills
- Outstanding teamwork and communication abilities

- Technical training or certification is preferred
