About The Position

This role involves operating machine tools to produce precision parts. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating equipment, interpreting technical drawings, performing quality control, conducting routine maintenance, and documenting production data. The operator will also troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with engineers to optimize manufacturing processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Formal training in machining is preferred.

Responsibilities

Setting up and operating machine tools like lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines to produce precision parts.
Interpreting technical drawings and specifications, selecting appropriate tools and parameters, and monitoring machine operation to ensure quality and productivity.
Performing quality control using precision measuring tools.
Conducting routine maintenance and minor repairs.
Documenting processes and production data.
Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Collaborating with engineers to optimize manufacturing.
Troubleshooting production issues.
Demonstrating the ability to run master’s and/or run rabbits.
Resetting errors and performing machine offsets.
