About The Position
Machine Operator - 1st Shift. This role involves running production lots, communicating with the team regarding runs, and maintaining a safe environment. The company is a leading manufacturer, distributor, and fleet sales expert of premium truck bodies with commercial upfit for vocational markets nationwide, striving for a pioneering attitude and a focused commitment to innovation. The position is in a high-volume and quality shop fabricating commercial and fleet vehicles.
Requirements
- Experience with Brake press, Plasma, or Laser
- Must be able to perform drilling, tapping, and sanding
Responsibilities
- Perform machine shop operations
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to leadership
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety precautions
- Perform Drilling, tapping, and sanding
- Operate a Brake Press, Plasma Table, or Laser
- Perform Quality inspections of machined products
- Complete and maintain paperwork
- Wear company provided, require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
