About The Position

Machine operators are responsible for operating assigned machinery, including pulling, inspecting and hanging plastic fishing lures as the bait generated and expelled from the machine molds while ensuring proper care and safety guidelines are meticulously followed. An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation. This is a 3rd shift position, working from 11:00 PM Central to 7:00 AM Central, and is an on-site role in Georgetown, GA.

Requirements

• Ability to work well with others to ensure the prospects of a safe and productive work shift.
• Good communication skills.
• Report to assigned operating machines in a timely manner at the beginning of shift.
• Must be able to work efficiently without constant supervision.
• Normal range of hearing and vision.
• Frequent walking and movement between assigned machines.

Nice To Haves

• Previous machine operation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recognizing visible flaws or defects in lures (ex. color, shape and size).
• Remaining standing and monitoring each assigned machine during the entirety of the 8-hour work shift.
• Practicing safe and cautious measures when using oil on machine molds to prevent damage to products.
• Assisting with other duties deemed necessary as instructed by active supervisor.
• Maintaining a safe and clear walking space around the machine.
