About The Position

SIG is seeking a Machine Operator for 12-hour night shifts, starting at $18.00 per hour. This role involves loading, unloading, and moving materials within the plant, yard, or worksite to maximize safety, quality, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The position requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. and the ability to work safely, follow policies, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, accurate in reporting, flexible, and possess a positive attitude with good communication skills. Technical or mechanical skills are preferred.

Requirements

  • Technical or mechanical skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lifting, packaging parts, and labelling properly.
  • Issuing parts to LN Work Orders using the FIFO method.
  • Reporting Lots Complete on FG parts from injection mold.
  • Meeting hourly/daily production targets on each machine.
  • Applying labels to finished product and migrating them to their designated inventory area.
  • Rotating and organizing inventory within the department.
  • Ensuring machine hoppers are filled with correct parts.
  • Pulling assembly samples for the QC laboratory every 4 hours.
  • Performing visual inspection of parts.
  • Ensuring 5S & Housekeeping is conducted before, during, and after each shift.
  • Following management Systems, Procedures, and Work Instructions.
  • Complying with all OSHA, Fire Safety, EPA, and other regulatory guidelines and rules.
  • Complying with all Company Operations, Personnel, Safety, and Environmental policies.
  • Working in various departments according to the daily production plan.
  • Performing inspection activities on the production line as necessary.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by management.
