As a Frame Cell Operator for Allegion, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and operating systems to ensure operations are running smoothly. Requirements

  • Manufacturing experience (preferred).
  • A broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with computer numerically controlled machine tool operating procedures (preferred).
  • Familiarity with and understanding of program formats involving combinations of operations such as profile and contour milling, boring, recessing, turning, drilling, threading, etc.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle complex issues and problems.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to pass all required drug screen and background checks.
  • Team player attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate machines in a safe manner per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  • Set up and operate multiple pieces of equipment; a press brake for notching and forming, OBI press, tappers, resistance welder, operate forklift as needed, as well as perform preventative maintenance tasks when necessary
  • Verify all operations have been inspected and completed before moving completed parts to next work cell.
  • Organize maintain all the machines as instructed by the preventative maintenance documentation.
