This role involves operating and maintaining machinery to ensure high-quality product output and efficient operation. Requirements

  • Basic mechanical understanding; trouble shooting, gear rotation, etc.
  • Able to read a tape measure and use basic tools such as ratchets, impact drills, wrenches, etc.
  • Possess analytical skills and pays attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to stand, stoop, bend, lift and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver large items up to 50 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up, operation, and maintenance of machinery.
  • Ensuring the machine produces high-quality products.
  • Ensuring the machine runs smoothly and at capacity.
  • Ensuring the machine is properly maintained.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment.
  • Follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment start-up and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.
  • Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high-quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
  • Operate/Monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality and minimal unplanned stops.
  • Perform tasks as assigned by supervision.
