About The Position
This is an entry-level position where candidates will be tested to determine their aptitude. While prior manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or GED are preferred, they are not strictly required if the candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Perform machining system startups and shutdowns per written work instructions on a daily basis
- Perform machining operations according to written procedures
- Maintain control charts per written instructions on a daily basis
- Perform necessary inspection using basic gaging equipment according to documented work instructions
- Monitor performance of the operations using statistical process control methods, identifying and eliminating factors causing non-conformance in the operation
- Maintain clean and organized work area and perform general plant clean-up as required
- Ensure KANBAN and inventory system accuracy and success
- Adhere to ISO and TS procedures and standards as well as documented work instructions to ensure zero defective parts are shipped to customer.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and make adjustments to machining equipment as the need arise
- Perform minor repair and maintenance to machining equipment per maintenance and operating manuals, or as necessary and perform T.P.M. requirements per written instruction
- Operate Point of Use wash systems as required
- Ensure proper material flow by adhering to Hilite Production System requirement
- Perform other related responsibilities as may be assigned or required
