About The Position

Conagra Brands in Indianapolis is seeking to expand its production team to meet customer demand nationwide. This onsite role at the Indianapolis, IN manufacturing plant on West 62nd St. involves operating machinery to produce quality products, cleaning equipment, and supporting packaging and process areas. The position reports to the production team lead.

Requirements

• Desire to work in food manufacturing environment.
• Availability to work overtime; typically 4 hours before or after a shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb stairs, lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, perform preventative maintenance, and perform corrective maintenance on plant machinery to exceed planned performance measures.
• Perform quality checks as specified in procedures.
• Partner with the line lead to determine opportunities for cross training.
• Follow all training documents for job on assigned line.
• Participate in cleaning processes.
• Communicate with line lead and maintenance to ensure issues with assigned equipment are fixed promptly.
• Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• All other tasks or projects as assigned by the shift supervisor or the operations manager.
