About The Position

We're seeking a dependable Machine Operator to support our production team by operating manufacturing equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a collaborative team. Available Shifts Rotating Night Shift 12-hour shifts | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM Schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on 3rd Shift 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM | Monday – Friday Shift premium available for select shifts. After six months, team members are eligible to request a shift transfer. Responsibilities You will set up, operate, and monitor packaging equipment to meet production and quality standards. Responsibilities include loading materials, inspecting products, completing documentation, performing basic equipment maintenance, and following all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures. You'll keep your work area clean and organized, support smooth shift handoffs, and assist with training as needed. What We're Looking For Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of machine operation experience or demonstrated mechanical aptitude. If you do not have previous machine operation experience but have strong mechanical aptitude, we encourage you to apply-we are willing to train the right candidate. The ability to handle conflict and differing opinions in a constructive and professional manner, in alignment with The Placon Way, is essential. Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English at a level that supports safety, training, and quality requirements. Physical Requirements Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that requires standing, lifting, bending, and twisting. This role involves frequent lifting of 15–50 lbs. and occasional team lifts up to 80 lbs., along with extended standing and movement during 12-hour shifts.
