Machine Operator - Night Shift

As a Machine Operator, you'll safely operate manufacturing equipment used to produce high-quality agricultural products, including grain bins, livestock equipment, fans, and other steel components. Depending on production needs and your skills, you may be trained to operate a variety of machines throughout our facility. Our equipment includes roll formers, coil processing equipment, CNC machinery, fabrication equipment, assembly stations, and other production machines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment.
- Ability to read measuring devices and follow detailed work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
- Dependable attendance and positive work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is a plus (training provided if needed).
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manufacturing equipment according to work instructions and production schedules.
- Read and follow manufacturing orders, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Inspect parts throughout production to verify they meet quality standards.
- Make minor machine adjustments and report equipment issues when necessary.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products safely.
- Use measuring devices to verify dimensions and product quality.
- Maintain production records and complete required documentation.
- Perform routine housekeeping and basic preventative maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Cross-train on multiple machines and assist other departments as production demands.
