Machine Operator - Press Brake Panel Bender 2nd Shift

About The Position

Gunnebo is seeking an experienced Press Brake / Panel Bender Machine Operator for its second shift. The operator will set up and operate press brake and panel bender equipment, including running multiple job setups and teardowns each day while maintaining efficiency. The role includes inspecting and measuring products against specifications, maintaining machinery and a clean, orderly work area using 6S practices, and communicating with the Production team. Pay is $19 to $24 per hour based on experience, plus a 10% shift differential. Excellent attendance is required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of press brake machine operation experience, including prior experience with a panel bender such as a Salvagnini.
Ability to set up the machine.
Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive hand movements.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen; applicants must test negative for marijuana.
Excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate press brake equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
Run multiple job setups and teardowns daily while maintaining efficiency.
Inspect products for defects, measure them, and verify dimensions using calibrated instruments.
Perform quality checks according to company guidelines.
Maintain machinery and keep the work area clean and orderly following 6S.
Communicate job progress, questions, and concerns to the Production team.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
