About The Position

This role involves operating and adjusting multiple semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations. The operator will work with provided programs and setups, which are often maintained by others. The position requires knowledge of operations such as drilling, boring, milling, and turning. The operator must be able to recognize tooling and procedures where close tolerances are required, check parts for conformance to specifications, use measurement devices, and change tools and manipulate machine programs.

Requirements

Ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications, or equivalent.
Ability to use measurement devices
Ability to change tools, manipulate machine program
Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear.
Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Occasionally required to sit.
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
