About The Position

These positions are responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of the product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line and sanitizing equipment. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels. These positions could work in any department of this meat processing facility and include sanitizing equipment.

Requirements

Must have 3 months experience listed on application (can be multiple employers but must add up to 3 months).
Proficiency in reading and writing.
Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork.
Ability to effectively communicate across all management levels.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas.
Stand 8-10 hours on hard floors.
Perform repetitive motions as required in many areas.
Work in a cold, damp environment.
Work on slippery walking surfaces.

Nice To Haves

3 months of Machine Operator Experience.
Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
