About The Position

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our Team! Manufacturing plant; will be required to wear personal protective equipment per policy and may be requested to work overtime per production schedule.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• The ability to read and write in English.
• A thorough knowledge of Flexadux product lines and construction requirements.
• Capability of meeting production standards and exceeding established standards on occasion during normal production runs.
• Maintain records of material used and machine conditions.
• Ability to read and use calipers, tape measures, weight scales, and plug gauges.
• Ability to mix materials as needed.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations normally required through a 12th grade education

Responsibilities

• Understands and operates Flexadux hose machines and downstream equipment for production and quality of the product manufactured. Includes 1st article inspection and audit sheets.
• Responsible for maintenance and general condition of machine and equipment in area. Completion of work request forms if needed.
• Responsible for correct reporting of labor and materials used in production as well as footage of product manufactured.
• Responsible for correct packaging of all products.
• Responsible for maintaining open communications with supervisor regarding condition of equipment, quality of raw materials, and product produced.
• Responsible for housekeeping and organization of your area and related areas in department.
• Responsible for correct packaging of all products.
• Responsible for safe work area, including prompt reporting of any safety hazards to the safety committee or supervisor.
• Performs any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor or other management as required.
