About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of the product through the production process, ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line, and sanitizing equipment. The role involves monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed, notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance, and maintaining a safe work environment while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Proficiency in reading and writing is required, along with the ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and communicate effectively across all management levels.

Requirements

Proficiency in reading and writing.
Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork.
Ability to effectively communicate across all management levels.
Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Willing and able to stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas.
Willing and able to stand 8-10 hours on hard floors.
Willing and able to perform repetitive motions as required in many areas.
Willing and able to work in a cold, damp environment.
Willing and able to work on slippery walking surfaces.
Must be in current position for 90 days.
Must have no suspensions or more than 3 written warnings within the past year.
Must have fewer than four (4) attendance points at the time of application.
