About The Position

This is a career opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator in manufacturing. The role involves being an integral member of the production team with the chance to learn various processes and machine operations. The position is for the day shift only, with no nights or weekends required, and operates in an HVAC climate-controlled facility.

Requirements

• Machine operator experience in a manufacturing production setting
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 pounds multiple times throughout shift
• Able to stand, walk and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to understand and speak English
• Manual dexterity
• Visual acuity

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual production machines
• Control and adjust machine settings
• Feed raw material through machines
• Straighten and trim tubing using hand tools, small spinning lathes and wet cut off saw
• Set up and operate melting furnaces
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Maintain activity logs
• Maintain clean safe work area
