Nice To Haves
- Experience working with a CNC machine or similar large machinery
- Working knowledge of stone polishing and order of operations
- Experience working with stone products or in the stone industry
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to read CAD and blueprints
Responsibilities
- Set up and monitor CNC Machines
- Ensure the correct material is loaded and programmed
- Confirm material lines up with laser for vacuum system to shape and polish edges
- Ensure tooling is correct for edges and computer matches tooling
- Check product placement and CAD plans to ensure that seams and design is correct for sink cuts and profiled edges.
- Observe operation of equipment assigned to ensure proper maintenance and safe operation
- Clean assigned work areas and equipment at the end of each day
- Coordinate repairs of equipment as needed.
- Maintain and operate equipment in accordance with operating manuals and procedures, and maintain your assigned work area in a high state of cleanliness/readiness
- Track and update job status in the Internal Tracking System
- Assist with daily operations and maintenance of all areas of production
- Safe operations of material movement including cranes w/suctions and clamp attachments
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
- Scan barcodes before starting and after completing of processes
- Pre-inspect materials before processing and double check material
- Pull measurements for accuracy
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
