About The Position

Doonan Specialized Trailer is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team for night shift operations (3:30pm to 12:00am). This position is responsible for operating and monitoring various fabrication equipment used in the production of trailer components, including CNC and manual machinery such as press brakes, plasma tables, waterjet tables, lathes, and other manufacturing equipment. Successful candidates will possess strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
Ability to read measuring devices including tape measures, calipers, and gauges
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Commitment to workplace safety
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment Physical Capacity test.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating CNC or fabrication equipment is a plus
Experience with any of the following equipment or processes is beneficial but not required: CNC Machinery, Press Brake Operation, Waterjet Cutting Systems, Plasma Cutting Systems, Lathe Operation, Metal Fabrication, Manufacturing Equipment Setup, Blueprint Reading, Quality Inspection

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manufacturing equipment according to work instructions and specifications
Operate machinery including press brakes, waterjet tables, plasma tables, lathes, saws, and other fabrication equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production schedules
Measure and inspect parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed
Monitor machine performance and identify potential issues
Maintain accurate production records and documentation
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
Assist with routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
Follow all safety procedures and quality requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
