About The Position
NIC Global is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator to join our team. We are a single-source manufacturer specializing in turn-key mechanical and electromechanical assembly, expert sheet metal fabrication, and global sourcing of metal and plastic components. We serve prominent customers like Philips, PACCAR, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Physio Controls, and Leviton. Requirements
- High school level education or equivalent specialized training obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
- Ability to follow work practices and safety guidelines and regulations.
- Ability to lift 50lbs with or without accommodations.
- Ability to stand on feet for 10-hour shifts.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a Stamping Press Operator, Brake Press Operator, Turret Operator, Welder, or Spot Welder.
Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate stamping press machines to produce parts in accordance with specifications.
- Set, align, and secure dies, and set ram stroke to perform operations such as punching, shearing, blanking, and forming.
- Responsible for setting up progressive stamping tools, including the feeder.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Responsible for general maintenance of equipment.
