About The Position

Westaff is hiring a Finishing Machine Operator for a manufacturer in Meriden, CT. The shift is from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with a pay rate of $19-20/hr based on experience. This role involves various finishing processes for manufactured parts.

Requirements

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, aerospace related a plus!
Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment such as calipers and snap gauges
Basic computer skills required
Physical stamina and strength
Must be able to stand for 10 hours
Must be able to lift on occasion

Metal Painting/Coating
post cure
buffing
de-flashing

assembly
trimming parts
Operate molding machinery and hydraulic press machinery
Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable state or federal laws.
Participate in all required internal training.
Performs other work as assigned within the department or in other departments as workload determines.
